The alarm goes off… you jump out of bed and the rat race begins…. I want to stress to you the importance of time for yourself. Doesn’t matter if it’s 10 minutes or 30, Every little bit COUNTS.
Tips for Time
EAT FIRST– it is important to fuel your body before you exercise, you need the energy to sustain your workout. Try oatmeal and berries or some multigrain toast and almond butter and a half a banana. Allow 30- 60 minutesfor digestion. Check your emails or do a meditation during that time.
EAT– every 2.5-3 hours. This will keep your blood sugar from spiking and your metabolism revving to burn more calories and fat. Try to always carry heathy prepared snacks with you in small Ziploc bags. Raw unsalted almonds are a great snack to keep in your car or purse while on the go.
HOME – If your kids are home with you, encourage them to workout with you. Make it play time! OR… don’t feel guilty by allowing them to watch their favorite TV show or play a game on the iPad while your workout. The time you spend on YOU will benefit your entire family making YOU happier and healthier!
